Some people express that they want to meet possible inhabitants of other planets. But maybe it should wait until we can manage to come to terms with the differences that exist on this planet.
Perhaps we hope that the residents of alien planets will help us solve our problems. Maybe we automatically think that they are a kind of gods, or our “older and wiser sisters and brothers.”
But this might not be a given fact.
